Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan star in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive, which is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format in the UK this May.

Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive has been rumoured for a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release in the UK for some time now, a rumour that was confirmed when the thoroughly excellent Second Sight picked up the rights to put together such a release. And now it’s revealed just what it’s been up to.

The firm will be releasing the movie, which stars Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan, on May 30th 2022, in two guises. There’s a standard release edition that includes the remastering of the film, a new audio commentary from Winding Refn and The Guardian’s Peter Bradshow, a 70-minute conversation between Winding Refn, Mat Newman and Cliff Martinez, and a new video essay too. Plus a separate interview with editor Mat Newman.

That’s available here, and is the cheaper of the two options.

The deluxe limited edition meanwhile sells for £54.99, and comes in a premium box, with the original novel, seven art cards and a 240-page hardback book.

You can find that here.

Both are available to preorder now.
