Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt star, Doug Liman directs, and Edge Of Tomorrow is now heading to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.
With Tom Cruise currently in the headlines for the release of the superb Top Gun: Maverick, one of his other absolute finest blockbusters to date is being lined up for release on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format.
The film in question – as you’ve probably guessed by reading the headline – is Edge Of Tomorrow. It’s the first of his collaborations with director Doug Liman, and memorably a film that Warner Bros struggled to promote when it first came around. By the time the movie landed on home formats, it appeared to be called Live Die Repeat, but for the 4K version, it now seems to be back to Edge Of Tomorrow.
The 4K remastered version is set to land on disc in the UK on August 1st. Thus far, we’re just seeing a listing for a posh Steelbook edition, that comes with a bit of a price tag. If Warner Bros follows current form though, a more economic version will duly follow.
For now, you can order the new version and find out more information right here.
