Director David Yates is stepping away from the Wizarding World, and directing Emily Blunt in Pain Hustlers next.

David Yates, who helmed four Harry Potter films, the Fantastic Beasts franchise and the terrific Richard Curtis penned drama The Girl In The Café, is moving to Netflix for his next project.

Entitled Pain Hustlers, the film is said to be similar in tone to American Hustle and The Wolf of Wall Street. Blunt will play high school dropout Liza Blake who, struggling to support herself and her young daughter, takes a job at a pharmaceutical set up. Her determination and drive catapults the company to huge success, but before long she finds herself at the centre of a criminal conspiracy.

In a deal said to be worth $50m, Netflix acquired the film at Cannes. The script is penned by Wells Tower while Lawrence Grey will produce under his Grey Matter Productions banner.

Blunt is currently filming the title role in Oppenheimer while Yates’ Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore is in cinemas now.
