Anya Taylor-Joy headlines the latest film adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma – and it’s coming to DVD and Blu-ray in the UK in June.

One of the films that had its cinema release cut a little shorter than planned earlier this year is the new adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma.

Directed by Autumn de Wilde, the movie stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Johnny Flynn, Angus Imri and Mia Goth. And it proved to be an acclaimed adaptation too, that was a beneficiary of Universal’s fast-tracked collection of releases it sent to premium video on demand services.

Now, though, there’s a way to get it slightly cheaper than the £15.99 that was being asked for to rent the movie, as Universal has scheduled the film for DVD and Blu-ray release on June 22nd. There’s no 4K release of this one, and nor do we have details of extra features as of yet.

As we hear more, we’ll you know. For the moment, you can preorder the film here.
