The life and work of Ennio Morricone is celebrated in a brand new documentary, Ennio: and it’s heading to disc in June.

Well, this looks quite something. The late Ennio Morricone left behind an incredible collection of work when he died back in 2020, not least many wonderful film scores. Iconic film scores at that. A new documentary about his life, Ennio, is currently playing in UK cinemas courtesy of distributor Dogwoof, and we now learn that the film will be coming to DVD and Blu-ray in the UK in June.

Directed by Guiseppe Tornatore, the film features contributions from the likes of John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Bruce Springsteen and Quentin Tarantino, and tells the story of his life and legacy. It’s already a well-reviewed film, and it’s available now to buy as a digital download. Or you can hold off, if you can’t get to a cinema, for the DVD and Blu-ray, that arrives on June 27th.

More details on it here, and you can order yourself a copy there too.
