Enola Holmes 2 will be filming in the autumn, with the core cast and creatives all returning for the second film.
Production is set to start on Enola Holmes 2 later this year, it’s been revealed, with Netflix stumping up for a sequel to the Sherlock Holmes-inspired original hit. There had been some legal shenanigans that threatened to delay the follow-up, but because we can’t afford expensive lawyers we’re staying right out of that.
The bottom line is that Millie Bobby Brown will be returning in the role of Enola., Henry Cavill is back as Sherlock, and Harry Bradbeer will be directing again. The source material remains Nancy Spring’s series of books The Enola Holmes Mysteries.
The Knowledge now reports that filming is set to take place in Hull this coming October. The studio base for the production will be in the south of the UK. And it all seems to point towards a release on Netflix at some point in 2022.
