Kurt Russell’s second outing as Snake Plissken – John Carpenter’s Escape From LA – is heading to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK: more here.
Following Studiocanal’s release of John Carpenter’s Escape From New York on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format a year or two back, Paramount is now completing the set. It’s releasing the sequel, Escape From L.A., on the format in February. And it’s just gone up for order.
It’s arriving in a double disc limited collector’s set, that also comes bundled with some postcards and bits and bobs too. That’s all an excuse to bump the price up a bit, and the release will sell for £35. We’d hope for a more economical option a little bit down the line.
Still, catalogue releases are very welcome, and this one’s out in the UK on February 21st. You can find more information, and order a copy, right here.
