Chris Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave will return for a sequel to Netflix action megahit Extraction – and here’s the trailer.
One of Netflix’s biggest hit movies to date on its service has been the Chris Hemsworth-headlined Extraction. Directed by Sam Hargrave and produced by the Russo brothers, it was pretty non-stop action this one, its distinction coming by the way said action was shot.
There had been talk of a follow-up soon after the original film was unleashed, and confirmation of that is now forthcoming, Chris Hemsworth revealed as such over the weekend, declaring that “if you thought our first film pushed the limits, wait until you see what Sam and I have planned for the next installment”.
A teaser trailer was also released to confirm the second movie, but it’s quite spoiler-y for the first one. It’s only worth peeping at this if you’ve seen Extraction.
No release date as of yet, but it looks like Extraction 2 is gearing up for filming soon. We’ll keep you posted.
