The Fast Saga has released a mega 3-minute trailer for the long-awaited Fast & Furious 9.
Showcasing franchise favourites Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez, they’ll be joined by John Cena in his first appearance playing Jakob Toretto, a master thief and assassin. Returning to the franchise are Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren and Sung Kang’s Han, who was previously killed off in an earlier instalment.
F9 is the first film since 2 Fast 2 Furious to not be written by Chris Morgan who departed the project to work on 2019 spin-off Hobbs & Shaw. It was written by Daniel Casey and Justin Lin, who also returns to the director’s seat for the first time since Fast & Furious 6.
After over two years of delays, fans everywhere are rejoicing about the thought of travelling to outer space with the fast family.
F9 is due to be released on the 8th July 2021 in the UK.
