The Oscar-winning classic Fargo is heading back into cinemas this summer, as it celebrates its 25th birthday.

Even as studios line up lots of big films for the coming months – the schedules are looking pretty packed once indoor cinemas reopen in May – there’s still a programme of re-releases on the way too.

Park Circus is a company that’s been behind a fair few of them, bringing lots of favourites back to the big screen. And we’ve learned that Joel and Ethan Coen’s Fargo, the film that won Frances McDormand her first Oscar, is heading back to UK cinemas.

The movie has popped up on the schedule for Friday June 11th, and it’s getting a small release. At the moment, the plan is that it’ll be available on fewer than 25 screens around the UK. But it will be available, although don’t expect a clear idea of just where it’ll be playing until a week or two before.

We’ll keep you posted as we hear of any further re-releases on the horizon…
