See the new Shaun The Sheep film early, and give MediCinema support at the same time.

If you’d like to see Aardman’s upcoming Farmageddon: A Shaun The Sheep Movie early, then you’re going to be offered that very opportunity, courtesy of a partnership with Medicinema.

Aardman and StudioCanal will be putting the film on at over 280 cinemas nationwide on Sunday 13th October, five days ahead of the film’s official release date.

Medicinema, if you’ve not heard of their terrific work, is the organization that installs cinemas in hospitals and places of care, and puts on screenings of films for patients.  In its own words, “MediCinema works to address the recovery and well-being needs of patients, families, carers and NHS staff experiencing the challenge of complex critical illness and extended hospital stay”.

Ticket sales from the preview screenings – which are open to everyone – will benefit the work of MediCinema. And it sounds as though everybody wins here. You get to see a really lovely family movie early, and an organisation that goes out of its way to bring cinema to those who may otherwise not have access gets a boost too.

You should be able to book your tickets at a multiplex near you now.
