The sci-fi action movie The Tomorrow War will hit Amazon’s streaming service on 2nd July, and here’s the final trailer.

Following a Covid-imposed lengthy delay, The Tomorrw War seems to have taken an age to arrive. But with the film’s release date now just a matter of weeks away, Amazon has launched a final trailer for the science-fiction action film starring Chris Pratt.

With something of a mind-bending premise  (using people from the past to save the future), The Tomorrow War looks like it could be a lot of fun. The film is directed by Chris McKay (The LEGO Batman Movie) and  the trailer sees Pratt delivering the one-liners he does so well, alongside plenty of action. You get some J.K. Simmons and Sam Richardson for your money too, so we’re hopeful that this might have been worth the wait. Check out the synopsis below, along with the final trailer.

And here’s that synopsis…

In The Tomorrow War, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.
