The first image for Indiana Jones 5 contains iconic imagery, as Indy crosses a precarious rope bridge
Surprisingly little is actually known about Indiana Jones 5 at this point, other than the fact that Harrison Ford is reprising the title role, starring alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Antonio Banderas, Toby Jones and Thomas Kretschmann.
Now, though, we have our first glimpse of what to expect. The image show’s Indy, clad in his iconic fedora, crossing a rickety rope bride, likely a homage to a similar scene in Temple of Doom.
Indiana Jones 5 will be the first film in the franchise not to be directed by Steven Spielberg, with Logan's James Mangold taking over the reigns, directing a screenplay penned by brothers Jez and John-Henry Butterworth.
The film is scheduled to be released 30th June 2023.
