The period thriller See How They Run will follow the hunt for a killer in London’s West End – and a bunch of images have just landed.

With Kenneth Branagh’s Poirot and Rian Johnson’s Knives Out packing out the multiplexes, it seems the public’s appetite for murder mysteries is higher than ever.

This brings us to See How They Run, an period thriller that will see a Hollywood producer attempt to mount a film adaptation of a popular West End play in 1950s London. When a killer begins making their way through members of the production, veteran detective Stoppard and overzealous rookie Stalker take on the puzzling mystery.

The film is directed by Tom George, best known for helming popular sitcom This Country, and written by Mark Chappell, for whom it appears to be his first feature film credit.

The ensemble cast is headlined by the brilliant Sam Rockwell and Saoirse Ronan as Stoppard and Stalker, respectively. They are joined by David Oyelowo, Adrien Brody, Ruth Wilson, Shirley Henderson, Reece Shearsmith, Sian Clifford, Lucian Msamati and Tim Key.

Searchlight Pictures revealed the images in a series of tweets, which you can view below:

The film is due to be released in September and a trailer is expected soon, we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
