Daniel Mays and Tuppence Middleton headline Fisherman’s Friends, an upcoming comedy based on a true story.

The unlikely story of a London music executive heading to a remote village and Cornwall, and turning its residents into music stars, is actually a thing. The true story of a few years back has now made its way to cinema, thanks to director Chris Foggin, and writers Nick Moorcroft, Meg Leonard and Piers Ashworth.

Together, they’ve come up with Fisherman’s Friends, that arrives in UK cinemas on March 15th. It’s attracted a cast that includes Daniel Mays, Tuppence Middleton, James Purefoy, David Hayman, Dave Johns and Noel Clarke. And the movie was shot on location in Cornwall, too.

Fisherman’s Friends is getting a wide cinema release in Britain, and the trailer for it is out in the open too. Take a look right here…
