It looks like a romance, but it’s got a bit of a twist to it: here’s the trailer for Fresh, that’s heading our way in March.
A few weeks after it debuted at the Sundance Film Festival, the film Fresh has its first trailer. The movie is the feature directorial debut of Mimi Cave, working from a screenplay by Lauryn Kahn, and it’s got the horror of modern dating in its crosshairs.
Starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan, the film on the surface follows a modern romance that, well, takes quite a bit of a turn. It’s a movie scheduled for release in the US on the Hulu service on March 4th, and we get it on Disney+ here in the UK. Not for a few works of course, but for the minute though, we do have a trailer. Seems to make sense to show you that.
Here’s the trailer…
And we’ve got a synopsis too! It reads as follows…
“FRESH” follows Noa (Daisy Edgar-Jones), who meets the alluring Steve (Sebastian Stan) at a grocery store and – given her frustration with dating apps – takes a chance and gives him her number. After their first date, Noa is smitten and accepts Steve’s invitation to a romantic weekend getaway. Only to find that her new paramour has been hiding some unusual appetites.
More as we hear it…
