An exhaustive look at the making of the Friday The 13th franchise of films is coming to DVD and Blu-ray: more details right here.

Fans of the Friday The 13th series of movies might want to add another Blu-ray release to their list, with the news that 101 Films will be releasing the exhaustive documentary Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History Of Friday The 13th.

There’s already a book available of the same name, written by Peter M Bracke. But this documentary package runs for the best part of seven hours according to the listing, and has been directed by Daniel Farrands. Furthermore, we’re promised that it “takes viewers behind the mask on an epic journey into the making of the landmark horror franchise — from its humble beginnings in 1980 at a New Jersey summer camp to the blockbuster release of its 2009 ‘reboot’”.

The disc release is listed for March 14th 2022, and whilst there’s no listing of extra features, there’s an argument that the main feature is doing what extra features used to do anyway.

You can find out more about – and order – Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History Of Friday The 13th right here.
