The story of Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne is being told in a new documentary film that’s heading our way in the next month: more here.

Heading to the BBC presumably over the next month is an official documentary movie of footballer Paul Gascoigne’s story. Gazza has been made with his involvement, and promises to be an “unflinching, deeply personal and humanising portrait of the ultimate tragic hero”.

It also “sheds new light on the profoundly amoral lengths the tabloid press went to access his private life and manipulate it for their own gain”.

The film has been directed by Sampson Collins, and is getting a DVD and Blu-ray release on 9th May 2022. That’s the only release date we have for it at the moment, and the official transmission is set to be in advance of that.

Still, if you want to order the film, or find out more about, you can do so here.
