The real life story of conman Robert Freegard is heading to the screen, with Gemma Arterton and James Norton leading the film.
Heading our way later this year is Freegard, a film that’s in post-production starring James Norton and Gemma Arterton.
In the movie, Norton takes on the role of conman Robert Freegard in a telling of his true story. Arterton meanwhile is the woman who brought him down, Alice Archer, in what looks set to be a cat and mouse thriller.
Adam Patterson and Declan Lawn have directed the movie, and they also wrote the script along with Michael Bronner. He’d penned the article too that’s the source for the movie, which also has Shazad Latif and Marisa Abela in its cast.
US rights have just been sold for the film, which is set to release over the summer. We wait and see what the UK plans are for the movie, and will keep you posted as we hear more.
