Gerard Butler is set to fight some more people in the movie Remote Control.
Gerard Butler’s slate continues to be on the busy side. Whilst development continues on lots more …Has Fallen movies, the Geostorm hero has added another movie to his line-up. He’s set to take the lead in Remote Control, described as a global action thriller.
John Mathieson, who previously served as director of photography on the likes of Logan and Gladiator is stepping over to the director’s chair for this one. As for the plot? Glad you asked. Butler will play a war correspondent turned corporate security consultant. All ticking along until he gets a phone call out of nowhere that somehow leads him to a big global conspiracy and hopefully some gun waving and shouting.
Clearly this will be a masterpiece and we’re already looking forward to a franchise.
The screenplay has been penned by Mark Burnell, who wrote the book that this is based on. No word yet on a release date. Please be assured we shall be bringing you the news as we get it.
