John Wick writer Derek Kolstad, big screen ass kicker Gerard Butler and Dexter author Jeff Lindsay are pooling their talents for Just Watch Me.

It’s boomtown if you’re in the market for Gerard Butler films at the moment. Last week, we learned that Den Of Thieves 2 is set to film later this year, and there are still plans to get Greenland 2 moving as well. And now, The Butler has added a project by the name of Just Watch Me to his slate.

In this one, based on a novel by Dexter creator Jeff Lindsay, Butler will play Riley Wolfe, a man who doesn’t like the extremely wealth and thus likes to, well, do something about their resources.

Derek Kolstad, who penned the original John Wick and the more recent Nobody, is on screenwriting duties for this one, with Butler in talks to take on the lead role. Given that there’s more than one source model, there might even be a sequel ready built in too.

More as we hear it. The plan at the moment is for this one to start filming at the end of the year.
