Gareth Edwards’ 2014 take on Godzilla is heading to Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray in the UK – just make sure the bass on your sound system is working.

Perhaps unsurprising given that Godzilla Vs Kong is incoming shortly, Warner Bros is set to release Gareth Edwards’ 2014 take on Godzilla on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. For anyone who owns any kind of half decent surround sound system, expect it to prove quite the workout!

The movie is arriving on the format on May 10th in the UK. As per the norm with Warner Bros catalogue 4K discs, the package will also include a Blu-ray copy of the film as well, where the extra features from the previous edition will be carried over.

No fresh extras are expected on the new 4K disc, but here’s hoping it proves to be something of a home cinema treat.

The film is available to preorder on 4K now, and you can do that – and find more information – right here.
