To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the film, the underappreciated Grease 2 is getting a Steelbook Blu-ray release in the UK.
There’s a growing school of thought that, contrary to the commercial performance of the respective two films, that Grease 2 is actually a better movie than the first Grease. There was a point in history where it felt almost sacrilege to say so, but maybe time has finally caught up with the argument.

Anyway, Paramount Pictures is certainly giving the debate a bit of a run, with the news that it’s releasing a Steelbook collectable Blu-ray of Grease 2, and it’s gone up for preorder now.
It’s set for release on June 6th 2022, and looks to be a repackaging of the previous release, just in a Steel case. For more on the limited edition release, head here, where you can also pick a copy up.
