Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham are back together for Wrath Of Man, which is skipping a cinema release in the UK and heading to Prime Video.

For the first time in over a decade, Guy Ritchie has directed a movie with his finest ever find, the mighty Jason Statham. The pair came together for a remake of the French film Cash Truck, only in their hands it became known as Wrath Of Man. Lionsgate was all set to release the movie in July in line with its American release, but with the jitters over whether audiences were keen enough to go to cinemas, the release got pulled.

Then, a few weeks ago, news broke that Wrath Of Man had been sold onto to Amazon for its Prime Video service. It’s no longer getting a cinema release in the UK after all. But what we do know now is just when it’s going to land: we’ll finally be able to watch the movie from December 10th 2021, when Amazon will add it to its service. That’s this very weekend.

It’s already available to import on physical media elsewhere on the planet. And if it all whets the appetite for another mix of Statham and Ritchie, they’ve come together again for Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre, that heads to cinema in January.

More, as always, as we hear it. Here’s the red band US trailer for the film. No watching this is you’re young and impressionable…
