Universal lines up a trio of watchalong parties for the next three Saturday nights, and you can get more details right here.

With lots of us still likely to be spending a lot more time at home over the coming weeks, more and more film companies have been organising watching parties for their movies. And Universal Pictures, for one, has just announced three of its own, complete with special guests.

On May 16th, this coming Saturday, the screening will be of Halloween, and guests for that one include director David Gordon Green and star Jamie Lee Curtis. The requisite hashtag you’ll need to follow is #HalloweenAtHome.

Former NASA astronaut Scott Kelly meanwhile is your host for May 23rd’s screening, which will be of the Oscar-nominated favourite, Apollo 13. The hashtag there is #Apollo13AtHome.

And then a website – not this one, panic not – is hosting a screening of The Breakfast Club on May 30th. You’ll need the hashtag #BreakfastClubAtHome.

The start time for each of them in the UK is 9pm. Note that you’ll need to get hold of a copy of the movie in question, and be pressing play when told to do so.

We’ll keep you posted as to when someone asks us to do a hosted screening of Waterworld
