The taking down of Fox News boss Roger Ailes sits at the heart of Bombshell – and the first trailer has just landed.
A stellar cast headlines the incoming drama Bombshell, that tells the story of one-time Fox News boss Roger Ailes, and the women who brought his tenure to an end.
Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie, John Lithgow and Allison Janney headline the cast of the film, and the official synopsis promises “a revealing look inside the most powerful and controversial media empire of all time and the explosive story of the women who brought down the infamous man who created it”.
Also in the cast are Kate McKinnon, Connie Britton, Mark Duplass, Rob Delaney and Malcolm McDowell. Jay Roach directs from a screenplay by Charles Randolph. And here’s the first trailer for the film…
No word yet on an exact UK release date, but the film has been earmarked for December 20th in the US, suggesting an Oscar run may well be on the cards.
