Tenet adds Himesh Patel to its sizeable ensemble.

Director Christopher Nolan’s mysterious new film, Tenet, sounds like being the blockbuster to beat next summer. That’s accepting that very little is known about is thus far.

What is known is that the movie is said to be an action film, involving some degree of espionage, and that Nolan has been shooting the movie across seven countries. His cast to date includes John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Clement Posey, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Kenneth Branagh.

And now a further name can be added to the list. Himesh Patel, who headlined this summer’s Yesterday, and was one of Film Stories magazine issue 6’s cover stars, has been added to the cast. Inevitably, little is known about his exact role in the movie.

Tenet is due in cinemas next July. A brief promo has been playing exclusively before IMAX screenings of Hobbs & Shaw in cinemas, but nothing else has been release of the film thus far.
