A new documentary zeroes in on the British stunt performers of the 70s and 80s who took Hollywood by storm – and here’s the trailer.

Arriving next week is a fascinating-looking new documentary by the name of Hollywood Bulldogs. It’s a film that’s going to tell the story of the rise of the British stuntman across Hollywood movies in the 1970s and 1980s.

Amongst the interviewees for the documentary are Vic Armstrong, Rocky Taylor and Greg Powell, with the films they’re involved in including the likes of James Bond movies, Superman, Rambo, the Star Wars films, Conan, a few Alien movies and much more.

Ray Winstone narrates the documentary that’s been picked up for exclusive streaming by BritBox UK. It’ll be launching the film on June 24th, and you can see the trailer for it right here…

We’ll leave you with the synopsis for it…

Hollywood Bulldogs tells the rough-and-tumble story of the small community of British stunt performers who went on to dominate Hollywood in the 1970s and 80s.

They created and performed the iconic action sequences of 007, Indiana Jones, Superman, Rambo, Star Wars, Conan, the Alien films and pretty much everything since.
