The film of Caitlin Moran’s How To Build A Girl heads to disc this November, with extra features in tow as well – more details right this way.

It was originally set to debut in cinemas in July, yet circumstances changed the plans for How To Build A Girl. The big screen adaptation of Caitlin Moran’s novel – that Moran herself penned the screenplay for – instead debuted on Amazon Prime Video over the summer, and earned plenty of praise too.

The movie stars Beanie Feldstein as a 16-year old working class girl in Wolverhampton, trying to break into a different world. Also in the ensemble are Alfie Allen, Paddy Considine, Chris O’Dowd, Emma Thompson, Sarah Solemani, Laurie Kynaston, Joanna Scanlan, Arinzé Kene, Frank Dillane, Tadhg Murphy and Ziggy Heath

Coky Giedroyc directed the movie, and we now learn that it’s also getting a disc release. It’s DVD only (no Blu-ray that we can see), but the film will arrive on the format on November 2nd.

There are some extra features too, primarily a 19 minute ‘Building The Girl’ extra, with featurettes also covering ‘My Life In Wolverhampton’ and ‘The God Wall’.
