Take a quick mooch at the upcoming movie of How To Build A Girl.

One of the highest profile British movie projects of the year is the upcoming screen adaptation of Caitlin Moran’s bestseller, How To Build A Girl. The film shot in the UK last year, and stars the terrific Beanie Feldstein (Ladybird) in the lead role.

The ensemble around her is great. Alfie Allen, Emma Thompson, Chris O’Dowd, Joanna Scanlan, Jameela Jamil, Sarah Solemani and Paddy Considine are just some of the names involved.

Moran has penned the screenplay herself along with John Niven, and Coky Giedroyc is directing. A release date of the end of the year is planned, although a date hasn’t yet been announced. But for a bit of appetite-whetting, Lionsgate – who’s backing the film – has released a shot of Alfie Allen in the movie. It doesn’t tell you much, certainly, but a trailer can’t be far away.

More on the movie as we get it….
