Howard The Duck: expanded soundtrack album confirmed

A three CD set of the Howard The Duck soundtrack is on the way.

I’ve always enjoyed the notorious George Lucas-backed 1986 flop Howard The Duck, to the point where I recorded a Film Stories podcast on the movie last year (you can listen to that here). And I’m not alone in my affection for it, as the recent special edition Blu-ray release demonstrated.

Now comes another treat for fans of the film, though: an expanded version of the movie’s soundtrack.

It’s been announced by Intrada Records, as a three-CD set. The score from John Barry will be included in its entirety, as well as additional music by Sylvester Levay, and songs by Thomas Dolby. Here’s the cover art…
