The latest collaboration between Adam Sandler and Netflix is nearly ready: here’s the latest trailer for the incoming Hubie Halloween.

The latest movie in Adam Sandler’s very rich ongoing deal with Netflix is heading out way this month. It goes by the name of Hubie Halloween, and it’s a comedy film about a man called Hubie who every year polices the rules of Halloween in his neighbourhood.

What changes things? Well, glad you asked. A new neighbour and an escaped convict are thrown into the mix, and people then start to disappear. It falls on Hubie to get to the bottom of just what’s going on.

Steve Brill has directed the movie, that co-stars Kevin James, Kenan Thompson, Steve Buscemi, Maya Rudolph, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta and Noah Schnapp. And here’s the new trailer and official synopsis to whet your appetite…

Here’s the first trailer from back in September too…

Hubie Dubois (Adam Sandler) thanklessly spends every Halloween making sure the residents of his hometown, Salem, celebrate safely and play by the rules. But this year, an escaped criminal and a mysterious new neighbor have Hubie on high alert. When people start disappearing, it’s up to Hubie to convince the police (Kevin James, Kenan Thompson) and townsfolk that the monsters are real, and only he can stop them. Hubie Halloween is a hilarious family film about an unlikely hero with an all-star cast including Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Noah Schnapp, Steve Buscemi and Maya Rudolph, produced by Happy Madison.

The film arrives on the Netflix service from October 7th.
