The film work of Paul Thomas Anderson is explored in a weighty new illustrated hardback book – more details right this way.

This looks brilliant, and apologies for not telling you all about it last week when it came out. Paul Thomas Anderson: Masterworks is a brand new fully illustrated tome, devoted to the films of, well, Paul Thomas Anderson.

Not unreasonable described as an auteur, Anderson’s films have included Magnolia, Boogie Nights, Punch Drunk Love, The Master, There Will Be Blood, Hard Eight and Phantom Thread. There’s much to digest in each of his movies, and this book certainly intends to do that.

Penned by Adam Nayman, it’s a posh hardback, published by Abrams, and the book is on sale now. Asking price is around the £30 mark, but usual online discounts have kicked in.
