Harrison Ford confirms that he’s about to start filming the new Indiana Jones film.

Finally. After delays, rumours and suspicions that the movie might not actually happen, Indiana Jones 5 is finally pressing ahead.

It’s been known for a while that Steven Spielberg was to direct one last Indy adventure, and that Harrison Ford would be reprising the lead role. That the film too isn’t set to be a reboot, and will indeed be a true sequel. Hopefully, without wanting to sound pissy about it, a better sequel than Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

Disney is now backing the project, given that it owns Lucasfilm, and the release date had been pushed back to the summer of 2021. And now, in a new interview, Harrison Ford has revealed that he’ll be working on the film in two months. That’s the first tangible news that this is actually going to be shooting soon.

Here’s the interview clip..

The thus-far untitled Indiana Jones 5 then should indeed be with us next year…
