Fading Petals, and indie drama directed and written by Bradley Charlton, is available to buy and rent on Apple TV+.

Fading Petals is an independent British film produced by Crazy Goose Productions. Filmed in 11 days and with just a five person crew in October 2020, the film had its theatrical premiere on 9th March in Oxford. It’s also available to rent and buy on Apple TV+.

The movie is directed by Bradley Charlton and stars Melanie Revill and Charlotte Reidie. Here’s the synopsis and trailer –

‘Two solitary figures find their paths cross when a young woman (Charlotte Reidie) arrives to aid a sickly old woman (Melanie Revill). After a hostile first encounter and despite misgivings from both, the two slowly open up to one another and begin to form an unexpected bond, but their affinity is short-lived. Events culminate as buried memories resurface and unforgiving words are spoken. The old woman then struggles to accept the absence of the old woman and is haunted by her memory. The pair meet one final time as truths emerge in a shocking revelation, proving that they are much more alike than they ever thought”.

Fading Petals is Bradley Charlton’s debut feature film, and it can be incredibly difficult to get the word out there about independent films when the cinemas are swamped with blockbusters. This looks like an interesting debut, so find it on Apple TV+ if you’re looking to broaden your film viewing experience!
