As some of you may recall, last year, Film Stories dipped its toes into the world of live events. Specifically, I went around a few venues in the UK, for a 90 minute natter about movies, film nerdism and chit-chat.
Now? I’m doing it again, with a regular monthly show that we’re trialling at the Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham.
Each show is a 90 minute celebration of the movies. We’ll have special guests talking about filmmaking and what they’ve been up to, nerdy film chat, Q&A, and even a little film quiz on the night. With prizes. Not great prizes, but prizes.
What’s more, we’re doing an introductory ticket price of just £5 apiece. Not that the show’s going to be expensive going forward, but we’re keen to establish a monthly night of film conversation in the West Midlands.
