It: Chapter 2 arrives on download services at the end of 2019, with the disc release in January 2020.

Warner Bros has confirmed the home release details for the hit horror movie, It: Chapter 2. The film was released in September of this year, and fell short both critically and commercially of Chapter 1. Yet still, its success is hardly to be sniffed at. The film grossed over $450m worldwide, and the pair of It films crossed $1bn between them.

Whilst the US disc release then is set to arrive just before Christmas, we have to wait a little longer in the UK. Warner Bros has confirmed that the movie will land on digital download services from 30th December, ahead of a DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release on 13th January 2020.

The Blu-ray and 4K are where you need to head for the extra features, with an extra 90 minutes of material, including a behind the scenes documentary. You get a director’s commentary too, although none of the rumoured deleted scenes are currently listed. Instead, the publicised extras are:

  • Pennywise Lives Again!
  • This Meeting of the Losers Club Has Officially Begun
  • Finding the Deadlights
  • The Summers of IT: Chapter One, You’ll Float Too
  • The Summers of IT: Chapter Two, IT Ends
  • Commentary with Director Andy Muschietti

The DVD, meanwhile, features just the Finding The Deadlights feature.

The disc is up for preorder now, right here.
