Jake Gyllenhaal and Vanessa Kirby are set to play stranded couple in survival thriller Suddenly.
More packages from the Cannes Marketplace, this time survival thriller Suddenly, set to star Jake Gyllenhaal (Velvet Buzzsaw) and Vanessa Kirby (Pieces Of A Woman).
Survival is based on Isabelle Autissier’s novel Soudain, Seuls (Suddenly, Alone) which follows an explorer couple who get stranded, turning their adventure of a lifetime in to a nightmare.
Adapting the novel and directing the piece is Thomas Bidegain. This marks his second directing project after Les Cowboys, but he is more widely known for writing the Palme D’or wining Dheepan as well as Rust And Bone.
StudioCanal will launch sales of Suddenly at Cannes Marketplace, with a production date expected after this.
