The Statham and Guy Ritchie are heading to Europe to make Five Eyes together – and more details can be found here.

For the first time since the muddled Revolver all the way back in 2005, Guy Ritchie are Jason Statham are reteaming on a new movie project.

It was Ritchie who gave The Statham his big break with Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, and the pair are coming back together for a film now known as Five Eyes.

This, actually, isn’t entirely new news, as the news of the project first came to light earlier this year. At that point it was going by the name of Cash Truck instead, and was one of a couple of potential projects that Guy Ritchie was juggling, following his success with Aladdin and The Gentlemen.

Five Eyes will see The Statham as an MI6 agent recruited to try and stop some world-ending weapons tech or something like that. Like it all matters. With a bit of luck, it’s a chance for both of them to hit top form, and call people toilets.

The film is going before the cameras this autumn too, with the shoot taking place in Europe. We might just therefore see the film before the end of next year. We’ll keep you posted.
