In the trailer for crime thriller Pursuit, John Cusack and Emile Hirsch play father and son – and they have a pretty dramatic family life.
Lionsgate has dropped a trailer for its soon to be released crime thriller, Pursuit. Starring John Cusack, Emile Hirsch, Elizabeth Ludlow and William Katt, the film focuses on a kidnapping, a wanted hacker, and his mysterious father. Cusack and Hirsch play John and Rick Calloway, a father and son who from the looks of the trailer are estranged. When Rick’s wife is kidnapped, he turns to his father for help.
Getting aid is far from easy, though, as John looks to be indifferent to his sons’ plight and Rick is himself a wanted criminal on the run from police. Hot on his heels is Detective Breslin (played by Jake Manley), who will stop at nothing to take Rick into custody. The name Pursuit is quite apt considering everyone in the film seems to be pursuing each other.
