Alone is an upcoming thriller heading to the UK in December – and here’s the trailer, plus details of its release.

Director John Hyams is the man who has helped breathe fresh life into the Universal Soldier saga, taking what could have been forgettable straight-to-DVD sequels and actually doing really impressive things with them.

He’s now been busy with a new movie, Alone, that features Jules Wilcox and Marc Menchaca. It’s a new thriller, and the trailer for it has been released. Here’s a taste as to what’s in store…

The synopsis meanwhile reads as follows…

Jessica (Jules Wilcox: Bloodline) drives on a long, lonely stretch of road in the Pacific Northwest. Attempting to rebound from a tragic loss, she’s packed up her belongings and is headed back to her hometown to restart her life. Also on this stretch of road is a Man (Marc Menchaca: Ozark) who, at first, seems harmless enough, but keeps showing up in the same places as Jessica. It’s no coincidence. The Man has hostile plans for her, and once in his clutches she has to fight her way out to safety somewhere in the wilderness, away from civilization, away from any help and away from the devious psychotic out to destroy her. And she’ll have to face it all alone.

Signature Entertainment is releasing this one, and it’s going to debut in the UK on digital HD from December 28th. More as we hear it.
