Keanu Reeves is still returning as John Wick, but he won’t be on our screens again until 2023 as Lionsgate delays the next film.

A story we missed just before we went on our Christmas break, Lionsgate has bought itself more time for the fourth chapter of the John Wick saga. The film, set to be headlined once again by Keanu Reeves, has already been delayed once or twice, not least because The Matrix Resurrections took precedence in Reeves’ schedule.

Lionsgate had hoped to have the film ready for May 2022 though, but it’s now announced a delay to March 24th 2023.

Chad Stahelski is to direct the film once again, and already confirmed to be joining Reeves in the cast are Bill Skarsgard and Donnie Yen. No plot details, as you might expect, have been announced as of yet.

Also just before Christmas, MGM took Legally Blonde 3 off the 2022 schedules, although that’s no surprise given the movie hasn’t started shooting yet. But it’s still expected to happen.

More on both of those films as we hear it.
