The Oscar-winning Jojo Rabbit is confirmed for Blu-ray and DVD disc release in the UK in May, with a slightly earlier digital release.

Taika Waititi’s hugely acclaimed – and Oscar-winning – movie Jojo Rabbit is finally making its way to home release in the UK. The movie isn’t one of those to benefit from a fast-tracked release in current times, sadly, but instead has been put up for pre-order, with an April 27th 2020 date earmarked for the digital release of the film.

Here’s the link to the digital release order page.

Furthermore, the film will be heading to both DVD and Blu-ray too, with a May 11th 2020 date for the physical release of the film. Unlike some territories around the planet, the UK won’t be getting an Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray release, so if you want that, you’ll have to import it from elsewhere.

We’ve now got details on the disc release’s extra features too. It looks like the DVD will be sparse, but on the Blu-ray, you’re getting:

  • Deleted scenes
  • Outtakes
  • ‘Inside Jojo Rabbit’ featurette
  • Commentary from director Taika Waititi
  • Theatrical trailer

Obviously, the disc release may be affected by the Coronavirus lockdown, but again, we’ll keep you posted on that. The preorder page for the disc is here.

We’ll leave you with the Blu-ray box art…
