Judd Apatow’s new lockdown comedy feature is shooting for Netflix in the UK – and more details on it are right here.
Once we’re – fingers crossed – out of this thing, we’re sure going to have sit through an awful lot of lockdown movies at this rate. The Zoom horror Host is currently the high watermark to aim for.
Not that writer and director Judd Apatow is likely to be aiming in that direction. Instead, he’s currently in London making newly announced feature The Bubble for Netflix. He and Pam Brady have written the script for the movie, and the cast is impressive. It features Karen Gillan, Peter Serafinowicz, Leslie Mann, David Duchovny, Pedro Pascal, Maria Bakalova, Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen and Keegan-Michael Key.
The movie is shooting at Shepperton, and it tells the story of a bunch of actors stuck together in a hotel as they try and finish their latest film.
There’s a sporting chance we might get this one before the end of the year too. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
