Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson head to DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray with Jungle Cruise, bringing some extra features with them too.
Before the film heads to the Disney+ service’s non-premium side in November, Disney will release the action adventure Jungle Cruise on physical media first, it’s been revealed.
The film stars Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson, with Jaume Collet-Serra directing, and it proved quite a hit over the summer. Can’t say we were too keen on it ourselves really, but we accept we may be in the minority there (for a change!).
Anyway: Disney is releasing the movie on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on October 4th here in the UK. It doesn’t send out official announcements of such things anymore, but from what we can gleam, the 4K and Blu-ray editions at least come with some special features. They include:
- Jungle Cruise Expedition Mode (no idea what that is)
- Making Jungle Cruise
- Dwayne & Emily: undoubtedly funny
- Creating the Amazon
- Once a Skip, Always a Skip
- Deleted scenes
- Outtakes
The DVD doesn’t appear to have any features at all.
You can find the listing for the film and order a copy here too.
And then Jungle Cruise lands on regular Disney+ from November 12th. Jungle Cruise 2, meanwhile, is on the way.
