The upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion may wrap up the story so far in the franchise, but there will be further Jurassic films in the future.

Some news stories out there provide you with massive surprises. Some don’t. This doesn’t.

Having being delayed due to you know what, this summer we get the release of Jurassic World: Dominion, a film that brings the Jurassic World trilogy to an end, as well as in theory the story of the Jurassic Park films to date.

However, producer Frank Marshall has been chatting about the franchise, and he’s already confirmed that more dino-action is being planned.

As he told Slashfilm, “I think that Dominion is going to wrap up this trilogy, but we’re not resting on our laurels”.

Marshall added that “we’re going to sit down, and we’re going to see what the future is. We have that wonderful series, Camp Cretaceous, on Netflix. We obviously want to make quality, good movies with great storytelling, great writers and directors, but we’re definitely looking to do more in the Jurassic world”.

Jurassic World: Dominion is due in cinemas this coming June, directed by Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World).

More news on that film closer to the time. You may recover from the shock that the franchise will continue going forward in your own time. Stay strong.
