A few bits and bobs from the land of Jurassic World 3 pre-production.

Director Colin Trevorrow returns to the director’s chair for the next Jurassic World film. He helmed 2015’s Jurassic World, of course, before handing over the chair to Juan Antonio Bayona for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Now, he’s back for whatever the next film is going to be called, and he’s shared a bit of the pre-production work that’s going on.

Specifically, the development of a baby Triceratops puppet, that he’s now posted a finalised version of on his social media account. Here, folks, is the critter in question…

And also with regards Jurassic World 3 – we figured we’d stick this in the same post rather than thinly trying to spread it to two – is the news that Jake Johnson and Omar Sy are returning for the next film. Johnson previously played Lowery from the control room, whilst Sy played velociraptor trainer Barry Sembene.

The pair join the previously announced Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum in the ensemble.

Trevorrow is on writing and directing duties for the movie, which arrives in cinemas in the summer of 2021.
