Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo’s BBC Four television show heads to the second half of its series run – and here’s what’s in store.

Proving to be something of a success for BBC Four – and it’s a show we’ve written about here – is Kermode & Mayo’s Home Entertainment Service. The show has a six week run, and this Friday the fourth episode heads to our screens.

What’s more, details as to what’s in store have been released. Here’s what’s on the way, courtesy of the official BBC sunopsis…

In this episode, they look at new sci-fi thriller series Snowpiercer on Netflix and actor Rafe Spall pops in for a chat, currently appearing in Trying on Apple TV+. They also hear what the nation have been watching at home and Simon and Mark round up the best (and worst) of the rest of streaming culture across movies and premium television.

The show is on BBC Four this Friday at 8.30pm, and as always, it’ll head straight to BBC iPlayer afterwards. You can catch up on the episodes thus far on the service already.
