Kevin Hart joins Dwayne Johnson for DC League Of Super-Pets as Ace the Bat-Hound.

It was announced back in May that Dwayne Johnson was taking on another DC role, this time as Superman’s best friend Krypto the Superdog. Today he announced the other famous voices who will be joining him for the DC League Of Super-Pets animated feature – including Jumangi co-star Kevin Hart.

Hart will be joining the project as Ace (the Bat-Hound), and alongside this canine crime fighting duo will be the voices of Kate McKinnon (Ghostbusters), Vanessa Bayer (Trainwreck), John Krasinski (A Quiet Place Part 2), Diego Luna (Wander Darkly), Natasha Lyonne (Ad Astra) and Keanu Reeves (John Wick). It’s not yet been revealed what roles each will be playing, but the film has a May 2022 release date, so we should be finding out quite soon.

The animation will be directed by Jared Stern from his own script. If you recognise the name, it might be because he wrote the screenplay for The Lego Batman Movie, so expect more caped hijinks with biting punchlines.

Check out Johnson’s announcement below, along with the cute Krypto teaser. I think I have a new favourite superhero!
