Filming is underway on Kingsman 3, with Matthew Vaughn directing once again.

There’s been a bit of a changeround for the third film in Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman series of movies. Notably, that the star of the first two films, Taron Egerton, isn’t headlining the new movie. Whether or not he takes any role in Kingsman 3 remains to be seen, but he won’t be the focus of it.

Rather, the new movie is set to dig into the origins of the Kingsman spy agency. Vaughn is once again directing the film, and the cast this time includes Rhys Ifans, Daniel Bruhl and Charles Dance.

UPDATE: And we have more casting news, too. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Gemma Arterton and Matthew Goode have all now joined the movie, in undisclosed roles. Furthermore, the film’s release date has been put back. Originally planned for release this November, it’s taken advantage of the latest delay to James Bond 25, and will now release on February 14th 2020 (which was 007’s original date).

Principal photography is now underway on the new film, with filming currently taking place in the south east of England. It’s expected that the shoot will be quite an extensive one, although where else in the UK it’s set to visit remains to be seen.
